Well, I found this cool cocktail shaker.  No, it’s not period correct but it’s cool.  Looks like a bell.  To that end, the Admiral of the Blue is adding the following “Bell Ringer” cocktails to our line-up for future Tavern Nights. You put your ice and spirits in the bell, assemble and ring the bell a few peals then unscrew the crown on the handle and pour. Should be loads of fun.

Artillery Cocktail

  • 2 Gil Gin
  • 1 Tablespoon Vermouth
  • Jack of Lime Juice

Shake over ice then strain.

Town Crier/Bellringer

  • Gil of Rum
  • Gil of Gin
  • Jack of Lime Juice

Shake over ice then pour into a half pint of beer.

Bellringer Gimlet

  • Jack of Lime Juice
  • Gil of Gin
  • Tablespoon of simple syrup

Shake over ice then stain.

Alarm Bells

  • Jack of rum
  • Jack of gin
  • Jack of whiskey
  • Jack of simple syrup

Shake over ice then strain.
