Washington’s Crossing Autumn Market and Encampment
Washington’s Crossing Historic Park
October 16, 2021 12:00pm – 4:00 pm

At the Autumn Market & Encampment at Washington’s Crossing Historical Park, colonial townspeople will gather at the marketplace in the Historic Village and sell their wares, soldiers will drill 18th-century military tactics, the park’s fife and drum corps will perform, and I will be running my Colonial Tavern and brewery. Come enjoy the wide array of activities including crafts, cooking demonstrations, and, of course, SPRUCE BEER.

My goal is to bring history alive through interactive portrayal of ordinary American life in the late 18th Century (1750—1799) My persona are: Journeyman Brewer; Cordwainer (leather tradesman but not cobbler), Statesman and Orator; Chandler (candle and soap maker); Gentleman Scientist; and, Soldier in either the British Regular Army, the Centennial Army, or one of the various Militia. Let me help you experience history 1st hand!
