We have this really interesting program planned for Fort Mifflin — THE CURIOUS CASE OF LIEUTENANT BODDY for February 5th and most people I have discussed this with say they are very interested in the idea. The problem is that tickets aren’t selling. We’ve proposed a lot of intellectually stimulating events for Fort Mifflin — programs designed to teach the history of the American Revolution without being dry recitations or military reenactments — but without ticket sales, these can’t happen.

So, if this is the sort of programming you want to see more of, go to http://www.fortmifflin.us/event/lt-boddy/ and buy a ticket. Come join the fun, and as an additional incentive, I have the last 30 bottles of beer from 2021’s Regimental Brewmeister’s programming that I will throw into the mix. If you send me a confirmation that you have purchased a ticket, I will reserve one in your name — Free of Charge.

Have a beer, catch a killer. Its a good day.

My goal is to bring history alive through interactive portrayal of ordinary American life in the late 18th Century (1750—1799) My persona are: Journeyman Brewer; Cordwainer (leather tradesman but not cobbler), Statesman and Orator; Chandler (candle and soap maker); Gentleman Scientist; and, Soldier in either the British Regular Army, the Centennial Army, or one of the various Militia. Let me help you experience history 1st hand!
