Okay, I am making a few period hammerstalls (don’t worry there will be some rebel versions for all you antidisestablishmentarians) at Fort Mifflin’s Gift Shop soon. These will be $10 and proceeds will go to Fort Programming.

I will also be putting portmanteau on consignment in the giftshop as well. These are much more involved to make. These will be $100 – $150.

Look for all of these in late April.

My goal is to bring history alive through interactive portrayal of ordinary American life in the late 18th Century (1750—1799) My persona are: Journeyman Brewer; Cordwainer (leather tradesman but not cobbler), Statesman and Orator; Chandler (candle and soap maker); Gentleman Scientist; and, Soldier in either the British Regular Army, the Centennial Army, or one of the various Militia. Let me help you experience history 1st hand!
