When and Where:

Deck the Alley 2023
Saturday, December 9, 2023
12:00 PM  8:00 PM

(event runs 2:00 – 6:00 but I need help with set-up and pack-out)

What are we doing:

This is a holiday open house fundraiser for Elfreth’s Alley and the Admiral of the Blue Apron is running the tavern for the day.  It’s a unique opportunity to see the inside the homes of Elfreth’s Alley and enjoy a couple of colonial cocktails or visit one of the many other Makers Market vendors who will be trotting out their wares for the holidays.  Expect musicians, food vendors, artisan crafters, and historians to be roaming up and down the alley but they will all, naturally congregate at the tavern so you will be at the center of the action all evening.

In addition to all the wonderful things Elfreth’s Alley has to offer, the Admiral will teach you how to make 18th Century cocktails and share as many as you can responsibly drink.  I will also ensure your parking is paid and, of course, you keep your tips. I may even be able to pay a small stipend.

Doctor Franklin is credited with saying that “Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy.” Come make people happy.
