Donald Trump is a Terrorist!

Terrorism has been described generally as the use of violence, or the threat of violence, to accomplish a political, religious, or ideological purpose. The World Health Organization defines violence rather broadly as: “the intentional use of physical force or power, threatened or actual, against oneself, another person, or against a group or community, which either results in or has a high likelihood of resulting in injury, death, psychological harm, maldevelopment, or deprivation.”

Donald Trump has repeatedly promised to weaponize the federal government during a second administration by pursuing revenge, retaliation and retribution against his political enemies. Trump’s attitude can be summed up in one Truth Social post from August, 2023: “IF YOU GO AFTER ME, I’M COMING AFTER YOU!”

Demagoguery in politics is as old as the republic, but no president has ever engaged in open warfare on the US Constitution and government in the way that Trump has. Trump paved the way for the January 6 insurrection. Trump supporters have instigated armed assaults on several key political leaders, severely injuring Nancy Pelosi’s husband (wo is not a government official) in his home.  Trump targets immigrants, journalists, judges, and law enforcement officials, basically anyone who stands between him and reelection and when Trump makes threats, violence often follows. 

Trump, like many of the ring leaders of Hezbollah, the Irish Republican Army, and Vladimir Putin uses something called stochastic terrorism.  He doesn’t carry out the threats he makes (he’s really a coward), he just makes speeches, tweets, and other announcements whose hostile public rhetoric is directed others who can be manipulated into taking hostile action.  Trump then claims there is no connection between what he demands in his speeches and the actions taken.  Trump talks of “migrant invasion” and others attack Hispanics.  Trump claims elections are rigged and protestors storm the Capitol.  He claims that HE is innocent but when the people who do these crimes are interviewed, they claim to be “acting on orders from the [former] President.” 

Don’t be fooled.  He’s to blame.  If it walks like a duck and sounds like a duck, its probably a duck.  Trump is the worst ducking person ever to run for ANY office.  If Ali Khamenei ran for US President on a platform of destroying the USA, would you vote for him?  Then why the hell would you even consider voting for someone who has actually attacked the US Capitol?

Remember, Elections only come periodically. We will get past this one and EVENTUALLY, back to normal. In the meantime, relax, have a beer, and remember that true patriots VOTE their conscience not what they are told to vote!
