TAVERN NIGHT at Rittenhouse Town — February 2025

This is the birthplace of David Rittenhouse, and we are basically taking over the entire site.  The site is arranging food, but I need help to run the tavern, games, and coordinate entertainment.  This will be like the program I ran last year for Elfreth’s Alley only a little better contained.  

Tavern Night for Fortnightly Club of Summit, NJ
October 10, 2025

Tavern Night in this social club’s colonial style mansion for members and guests. During the day there will be several public programs, including performances by the Sea Dogs. In the evening, we will run a tavern from their ballroom. I would really like to have a few Crown Forces uniforms in the crowd.

CURIOUS CASE OF LT BODDY — November 2024
at Jerusalem Mills (2813 Jerusalem Rd, Kingsville, MD 21087)

We tried several times to launch this play at Fort Mifflin and it never seemed to work out.  Jerusalem Mill wants to pick up the program (adapted for their history).  This promises to be a true Agatha Christie style murder mystery.  I know this is not a local program and may present a logistics issue for some, but this should be quite fun and once launched, it will likely be an annual event.  I am also hoping that once we have a success, we can replicate this at more sites.  

This project is complicated as it includes elements of a tavern night as well as characters who interact with the public and, of course, the final reveal.  This is not a scripted play but rather an event where you assume a 1st person persona (may or may not be a historical person) and just talk to the guests. I am still writing the basic program for this event so this is your chance to not only be a significant player (maybe even on Baltimore local television) but also help shape the program.
