Passover is a frustrating time for a brewer, my craft relies on leavening! There is, however, a very Jewish tradition that I hope that you will embark upon with me this year — Sedar. Not the meal, sure you should stand at my door and be a welcomed visitor, but the storytelling. I’m not going to tell you the story of the Exodus. For the next 9 days, I will post a story of American Jews during the American Revolution.

For those who are concerned about Halakha, relax I wrote these several months ago and the computer is simply delivering them to you today. Enjoy…

My goal is to bring history alive through interactive portrayal of ordinary American life in the late 18th Century (1750—1799) My persona are: Journeyman Brewer; Cordwainer (leather tradesman but not cobbler), Statesman and Orator; Chandler (candle and soap maker); Gentleman Scientist; and, Soldier in either the British Regular Army, the Centennial Army, or one of the various Militia. Let me help you experience history 1st hand!
